Italy has become his faith.
On the search of new frontiers, and confronting his own findings with other realities, he went beyond the status of an olive oil maker. Travelling the agricultural roads of Italy, he discovered many other greats of the Italian artisanal food world: the Pistachios growers from Bronte, high altitude vinegar cellars above Modena, farmers of the Bergamot citrus fruit in Calabria, possibly the finest vintner of Sangiovese in Montalcino, handmade capers from the Sicilian islands and last not least great artisanal flour mills.
Today Jens happily shared this knowledge as olive oil maker and host at the Villa Montecastello.
